Can I use this kind of DC-plug in metal enclosure?

I bought this kind of DC-plug for my FF-69´ clone. http://www.musikding.de/popup_image.php?pID=124

So question is can I use it in matel enclosure because theads are in DC-plug positiv and in instrment plugs negative :icon_question:

Not unless the ring of your adaptor is negative. Most pedal supplies are ring positive so you will get a short. The only option is to isolate the jack some how but for the time and effort you might as well get the correct jack.

Thanks for answering. I now just have to order parts for Orange Squeezer and get it same time. And thats "bad" because I was planning to make that effect later  ;)

i have used them for my own pedals sometimes by putting some heatshrink around them. a pain in the ass to isolate them tough
