What type of caps to use?

What type of caps are the best to use for pedals when you have the choice?

  The kind you choose.
  Check out GEO, general reading there will eventually lead you to a capacitro comparison, complete textual and oscilliscope...charts etc. tells all about cap stuff.
  Greenies work find most the time
  Metals are generally rated to closer uf tolerance, might ever sligthly reduce noise, less mojo tho too
  I don't use Carbon or those brown flat cap types for 9v SB's, much at all.
  Box AVX caps are a Fine choice Imo...see Fuzz Central > Liquid Drive.
  For 9v, use caps rated at 16v or above, for cap safety. Never apply greater voltage potentail than the caps rated voltage.

i plan on running my octavia build at 18v, do 25v caps suffice?
