Well, got some JFETs and caps and GE transistors, thanks to a generous forum member, and was all ready to go and play on the breadboard.  Then my 2 year old daughter decided to come down with a small case of pneumonia.  That put a hamper on things for a few days.  I did manage to breadboard most of the JCM800 Emulation circuit and started a few others, Rangemaster clone and the Vulcan.  I have this bag of 2n5089's sitting here begging to be put in a Joe D. circuit....LOL.

So, I'm hoping to finish at least one thing before going back to work on the 27th.  I don't care if it turns out to be another booster...LOL. I just need to finish something and be happy with it. :D

Oh yeah, I have to fix a 4-track.  It's not getting any power and the DC Adaptor is reading voltage fine.  Even tried it with the adaptor from mine, which is the same model, just to make 100% sure the adaptor isn't the problem.  Time to find the voltage killer.

hey, if you don't get pneumonia consider yourself ahead!!  I wish i had time to work on something, i haven't had any time since my daughter was born in Sept.  Not that it's a bad thing, i just miss my tinker time.  I haven't even had 20 minutes to screen print 15 pairs of underwear for my band!

I hear ya, man.  When she was a baby I never would have thought about doing anything else.  There was no time, plain and simple.  Congratulations on the new baby.  Little girls are easily spoiled.  And have a Merry Christmas!

4 ?? Bless you, man....LOL. I have 4 older sisters, all within about 5-6 years of each other.  I don't know how my parents did it. :D

Merry Christmas to everyone.

The Tone God

Cute story.

For roughly a month now this little girl has been told "Santa is coming. Santa is going to bring you toy." She walk around saying "Santas comin". When you ask her "what is Santa going to do ?" she would respond "Bring Toy." Recently someone showed up with one of those crappy dancing Santas. Upon first sight she walks up to the dancing Santa, sticks her hands out, and says "Toy ?"

I can think of some plans for that thing...hehehe
