I just picked up most of the parts to build the Commonsound phaser, but there's some trouble locking down some parts:

2 x 604-L113HDT @ .34 (rect LED)
2 x 338-54C348 @ 1.31 = 2.62 (CdS cell: 5k light, 500k dark)

Those two aren't available at Mouser any longer, and I'm not sure about most of the LEDs at Small Bear (if any of them are rectangular or not).  The way the opto-couplers on this puppy are put together, I gather the specifics of the LEDs aren't up for debate.

Anybody know what my options are?

There was a thread on the commonsound forum about this recently. That builder was using the YELLOW same size LEDs from Mouser. Jameco sells rectangular LEDs that are a little wider than Mouser's. If they are too wide for the board, you can always run wire leads from the LED/CdS combos to the board; tape or heatshrink the components togethe offboardr.

I've never tried these alternate methods, though, so I can't say anything about how they will sound.

you can use normal red leds, it worked for me in the phaseur and the tremulus
