Hi fellas,

I'm building a ross compressor using the PCB layout from Geofex.

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/geo_d&r_comp.pdf

I want to use a 3PDT switch instead of the DPDT shown in the layout.  I've seen Aron's diagram (below), so I've looked at the circuit for the input and output connections.  I think that the input is the second connection along from the top left of the circuit (going to R1) and the output is from the middle lug of the level pot (please correct me if I'm wrong).  If this is the case I could just use Aron's layout shown in the link?

FIrst is can you read off the schem what it looks like you want your switch to do.
You can use the DMM...connect to a middle along a side lug, and test to see which other lug it connects to, press the switch, repeat.
pretty soon you'll see there's 3 columns, three rows.
It's like two of the three 'columns' of lugs are a DPDT, with another PDT thrown in to make it 3pdt.
Each columns middle lug will connect to a lower lug and not higher one, press the switch and it goes to the higher lug not the lower one.
If you chart your switch with pencil and DMM, compare that to the schematic, you'll find a way through from input jack to circuit input using 1 of the three columns, a way for the output to circuit using 1, and the led uses two lugs of a column.
The two lugs left for circuit in/out get the bypass wire/
  Hope this helps.
