I was looking through schematics for the Dallas Rangemaster, and found that the schematics on diystompboxes and the one of geofex have different values for the caps...and the parts list for the Ranger kit on BYOC has different caps listed too. Which schematic is correct?

superjoe

also, would you suggest using terminal board or perfboard construction.

petemoore

  Both, probably or something
But I found the .0047uf input cap too de-bassed, I think it ended up as .01uf or .022uf...
Definitely Perfboard, yeah, and definitely socket the transistor, oh and teh input cap

I was going to use a dpdt switch to select 2 different input caps, one for the reg treble boost and one for a full range boost...i just need to know which values are the same as the original.

See GEO, Technology of the dallas treble booster IIRC.
PDarn Complete breakdown/explanation of the RM.
  .0047uf I believe...
