I have e-maile Ben Fulton a couple times, but I guess he is really busy. I have never heard back. So I thought I would ask you guys if you have any recomendations. I have heard that this is a common issue with this pedal. My original did the same. Do any of you know if there is a mod to correct this.emo_sound@yahoo.com

Thanks

My Deluxe Moon Phaser does the same thing, although I've noticed that once it pops it's OK for a while.  I can't remember whether Ben put a pulldown resistor on the Moon Phaser or not.  If he didn't then that might help a little bit.  I know that he's been really busy lately with two new pedals out in the last two months and another on the way soon.  Plus, he's pretty much a one-man operation.  He'll get back to you soon I'm sure unless he's had some computer issues...

I've found that you can "discharge" some true-bypass pedals by switching them on and off a couple of times before turning the amp on.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

I don't have a schematic, but Ben e-mailed me last night with this fix. It did help but there is still a little pop. Maybe thats as good as it will get. It is much more usable now.

Heres what you do.
1)Take the back off the unit. Sit the pedal so the back of the footswitch is closest to you.

2) you'll see 9 tags organised like this;

    II        II        II

    II        II        II

    II        II        II

3) you need to tin a small piece of wire and connect the following *  two tags;

    II       *II        II

    II       *II        II

    II        II        II

4) Reassemble and you should find.... no pop.
