Hi,
I built the BSIAB II a while back. It is the "stock" build from GGG site. I'm wondering what tweaks would get me less upper mids and bit more bass. I think this would help with my strats single coils. Thanks in advance!!

Hi

I build two. The one I use most is the one with an added 3 band active tone control.
This makes it possible to shape the sound off this extremely good sounding pedal even further.

There is a link on it to the tonecontrol I used.

Hi, thanks for the reply. You're pedal looks great. While the expanded tone section looks interesting, I was hoping to do just a slight revoicing of what I have.

For two interesting mods on the BSIAB you can go to the russian forum:

There you have a two-knob tone control and the "BSIAB Extrem"

Is this the one you built? http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/bsiab_2_sc.gif
Try adding a 10uF by-pass cap on the source of Q1 in place of the .22 cap. This won't decrease the upper mids but will give yo more low end.

Jered, yes that's the one. So a 10uf instead of .22? Ok, I'll give it a shot.
