rumble rumble problem

hello folks!

Was wondering if you could help me figure out why my swollen pickle clone is getting this rumble. It is literaly a low "rumble" that is much louder than any high gain pedal should have. You don't really hear it when playing, and it increases when the fuzz gets turned up, but again, much louder than any high gain pedal would have. the pedal sounds great in all other respects. I even went as far as building another and got the same results.

The sound is like wind on a condenser mike if you know that sound.

I did use a DPDT with Jack Ormans PNP tranny LED switch, not a 3pdt.

I also get a scratchy sound when turning the FUZZ knob. Same thing on both pedals. It's not a dirty pot, I wish it was that easy, It sounds to me like the "crackle OK" you get with a zvex HARD ON, or SUPER DUPER. The rebias sound. Again happens on both.
