KORG ax1500g effect problem!

i wondered if anyone uses the korg ax1500g??? i get a really weird hiss when i have the acoustic simulator selected it hisses when a note is plucked or a string is ringing but is silent any other time!!! (i can post a sound clip if you need one)


i just wondered if this is universal or if my unit just has a fault? i bought it brand new a few days ago!

Not familiar with your unit, however, my friend has the old version of the korg chaos pad as well as a korg effects processor and both are really noisy.  Not sure if this helps, but when reading your post my friends gear issues came to mind and seemed relevant so I thought I'd share.

hmmm ok i really need to find someone with the unit but thanks anyway! if there other products are known to have noise problems it could be common to this unit

Hi disto,

I've got a ax1500g, and I have no problems with hiss at all. I've tryed out the acustix preset in the factory preset bank - I dont use that preset normaly, and found no problems when testing it.

I guess you've made your own acustic preset, and I guess you've too much gain in the compressor section. :-)

hmmm ok thanks no this even happens on the preset! its a slight hiss when and note or even just a slight movement of the string is played
