Budda wah Popping when turned on

My budda wah pops when I turn it on, it has a 3pdt switch in it. I tightened the nut and it helped or at least I thought it did. do I need to attach a 100 k resistor to the ground on the input jack and connect it to the switch somewhere? I've done that before on a true bypassed ts9dx and it worked. Should I do this on the budda? I can put up a picture if I need too.

i put in a fresh battery and it stopped, maybe its just when the battery gets ready to die
