Anyone ever build this one? Looks like it might make sounds similar to a Fuzz Factory... http://krustykorp.tripod.com/interlarder.htm

remember checking this out years ago (2 or 3), but never got around to it because of the dp6t switch...looks pretty nuts tho!!

Av Hollinger, the Interlarder's designer, is busily toiling away at the University of Waterloo in his engineering program (almost done too).  We correspond every now and then, and he's been involved in some interesting student projects involving gestural music controllers.  If you had any questions, you might be able to find his e-mail address in the student directory there.  I'd give it to you myself but it is unfortunately in an account I don't have any access to at the moment.

The most complicated thing about it is that switch. Nothing putting in a mail order couldn't take care of.  :icon_wink:
I would like to hear a sound clip or two, if they exist anywhere...

He used to have several sound samples, back about 4 years ago. From what I remember, I would say it was closer to Joe Gagan's Sky Ripper Fuzz than just about anything. It had a lot of "farty" humorous positions, and I believe a few that were somewhat like the Dirty Bird. I started building it when it was still too advanced for me, and screwed it up royally. I eventually gutted it out for pots, but it does work. Av is a good guy. If I remember right, (and that's been maybe 4 years ago) he had a group where they played a bunch of ring mod stuff. It was definitely the weirdess stuff I ever heard, but, very interesting and unique at the same time. It's something you wouldn't want a whole album of, but it was cool.
