Hi Everyone, feel a bit silly about this post but I'm pretty new to all this (although have done lots of dual loopers, ab boxes etc) so I thought I'd start with sometning simpl.. the Bazz Fuss

Having completed the stripboard as in the gallery section I can't get it to fuzz! Looked at the basic schematic but that uses a 2N5088 but I'm using the 2N3904 with a 914 Diode.

I don't really get a volume change either with the pot. Have built it again using sockects so I know I'm not burning out the transistor but still nothing. I have built it wired with 3PDT and without any switching and no change.

I'm sure I am doing something so silly and stupid but just need a push in the right direction.

the pinouts of the transistors???
make sure they're the right way round

if you're new to using stripboard,have you sliced the sections out (in red on dragonfly's layout in the gallery)??

Yep already done all that. I'm pretty new to this but have a good idea of whats going on from what I can remember from school (although thats 15 years ago! lol) I've even followed the schematic on the run of groove site but that uses a 2n5088 with a different pin out (at least thats what i think!)

I don't think there is a schematic at runoffgroove for the bazzfuss...there is one at homewrecker.com though.

Cheers Joe thats the site I meant. Going to try making a buzz box to see if that works now willl let you all know  in 30 mins
