Can I incorporate this into building a Mobius Trip looper?

Halo

I had to swing by RS on my way home yesterday, and I walked into one that is closing..So I get some diodes, toggles and what not for building a headphone amp, and I see this 20 second recorder.

I picked it up for cheap, so I was wondering if I could wire it into a Mobius Trip? Would that be possible?

I'm a noob to electronics, so I don't know where I would start to incorporate this device..

otherwise, I'll throw it into an Altoids tin and give it to the kids to play with!

Thanks for the help!

IIRC the IC is a SMD that is epoxy covered. It makes doing any kind of logic control external or otherwise difficult. Quite frankly you would end up having to doing just about all the same external circuitry for that as you would building one from scratch so you are not that much farther ahead.

P.S. I have a looper design coming out soon.
