Ok I have done it!! My first build!  ;D

I created exactly what is on the diagram I posted...

adding a 500k pot (in) and a 100k pot (out). Also a DPDT switch but I couldn't get the LED trick circuit to work so I left it out for now. It is all boxed in a 111x60x30mm die-cast aluminium box which is a tight fit coz I only have large pots. They are the only boxes I have right now though.

The sound is good although I am wondering how to change the tone. It is a little too "Santana" sounding for me. Kinda like having a wah on with the heel all the way down. Any ideas?

Otherwise, it is a great sound and wasn't too hard to make. :) Great design Joecool85!  ;D

Cheers,
Shane

glad to hear it worked out for you. as far as tone you can play around with the values of the input and output caps. enjoy.

feedback resistors might help to flatten out the frequency response. not sure how this relates to darlingtons and/or diodes in feedback loop, but worth a try

Umm... What is a feedback resistor and how does it work? Sorry but I am extremely new to electronics.  :icon_redface:

Thanks,
