Box style caps...

I've been thinking of switching to using those box sytle caps, maybe from AGV, or whomever.  I currently use the green Xicon caps, which are nice.  What advantage, if any, do these have, beyond the fact that they look cooler...  Would these be a good replacement for Electrolytic's maybe?

Here is a thread I started with pictures compareing the Greenies to the box caps.
The big differenct is the leads are very short so no good for perf construction

I don't think they are a good choice for an electrolytic as 1 -2uF box caps start to get very large.

For Electrolytics I like the Xicon 7mm hight ones in the mouser catalog. They are small

  Greenies / AVX box style, Red ones too, I just stay away from the flat brown 'leaf' looking ones.
