Khas Evets

So I'm think about adding some tone controls. One thought is to cut bass early in the circuit by putting a 50k in series with Q1's 1uf cap and a .1uf cap from source to ground. This will allow you blend in the lower cap for more bass. Second, replace the 470k resistor to ground with a 500k pot and a .001uf cap to cut highs. What do you think? Any other tone stack ideas? There's always the BMP tone control on the back-end.

Yeah! I wish I could tell you what I think on that ! : )     as I said earlier THIS is pretty much what I was trying to do with the vulcan. but instead of the 470k to ground swapped for a pot ,   Replaced 470k in series with volume was replaced with a 500k pot in series with volume AND the 470k R to ground was basically changed to a .001cap .  Theoretically this SHOULD work about just like the SWTC!! But for some odd reason the Roll off is AS EXPECTED only from full CW to about half rotation. Then from there to full CCW there 's a slight return towards treble.    ????????  ???          I'd love to hear someone's reasoning for this. It's so simple  and It should work , I don't understand.  BUT if your variation of the pot for the ground resistor works I'd like to know!  The 1uf /50k series pot idea is interesting.
thanks
