IR 9022

i need a 9022 for a chorus pedal im fixing, the closest thing that small bear seems to carry is a 1022.  will this be a suitable replacement?

I don't think a IR9022 is a BBD (which the TDA1022 is).  I may be way off but my vague recollection is that it might be an op-amp, and possibly a TL022 equivalent.

Q:  Is it used in the LFO section?

im pretty sure its the LFO section, the other IC's are 2 4558DD's a 3107 and a 3207.  the 9022 had a capacitor glued to the top of it so i had to carefully cut it off and remove some of the glue to identify it.

The TL022 is regularly found as the dual op-amp chip used for LFOs in chorus, flanger, and phaser pedals.  Steve Daniels carries a remarkably broad spectrum of stuff, but unfortunately the TL022 is nowhere to be seen there.  You'll need to order it from somewhere else.  I imagine any of the larger places like Digikey, Mouser, et al., will carry it. 

Alternatively, most LFOs will "work" with garden variety op-amps, and the TL022 may simply be the replacement that results in least current drain or other inaudible characteristics.  So, if you are fixing it for yourself, just plop in a socket and any old dual op-amp for the time being, and swap when you eventually get the "right one" in.
