Effects Loop Switcher?

Hi,
I haven't really built much stuff. Basically, the amp I use has an effect loop but no way to switch it on and off. I only use a delay and chorus pedal and almost always use both or neither. I want to build a box that I can stomp on to switch to route the signal either straight through, or through the pedals which will be attached to the box. As I see it I need a box, DPDT switch, and four jacks. I'm still having trouble picturing in my mind how it's going to work because I need to switch where the input goes and where the output comes from. Can anybody help me? Thanks,
