I tend to use stripboard for everything but most of the ROG type layouts use a matrix board with copper on each hole rather than long copper strips. Whats this board called because I cant find it in the UK so far.

Cheers,

I know it sounds like a shameless promotion, but I assure you that you will not find pad-per-hole (and that IS what it is called) board better than what Steve Daniels has made for Small Bear...anywhere.  He sent me some samples way back, and if he never does another good deed for the rest of his life arranging to have these boards produced will more than make up for it.  They are top-notch fibreglass (not the brown crumbly stuff that RS sells), and the pads are beautifully tinned and legended.  He also sells them cheaper than RS.  I think the ROG folks would also likely endorse the Small Bear pph boards since that looks to be what they use too in some projects.  (The brown untinned boards seen there are RS boards.  The green fibreglass ones with the nice rounded corners are Steve's.)

Yeah, what Mark said.  Small Bear's boards are pretty much the best pad-per-hole you can get.  Go ye to smallbearelec.com and order some up.

For stripboard though, i've only seen Aron's, but I like them.
