Carbon Composite Resistors not available in the UK?

Hi,

I am trying to perform the famous "Brown Mod" on my TS-9 which call for 2 x Carbon Composite Resistors (100 ohm & 10k ohm).

I am however having a very hard time locating these in the UK. Are they not manufactured anymore?
Does anyone know where I could purchase some of these in the UK?

Hi,

I am after "Carbon Composite" resistors for the "Brown Mod".

I was under the impression that "Carbon Fim" resistors are of different type?

Anyone else have anything to add?

carbon comp vs. carbom film vs. metal film

with 2 resistors, you probably won't be able to tell the difference. with all of them, you might notice the carbon comps making thermal noise. be picky if you want, it's your time.
