MXR micro chorus compared to... zombie chorus/ce-2/small clone

Now, I really like the mxr stereo and micro chorus (but I really hate the price tag). Just like everyone else who's asked (in the archives), I haven't been able to find schematics for either of these.

Does anyone have the schematic for the micro chorus or stereo chorus?

Better yet, does the zombie chorus, small clone, or ce-2 sound anything like it? My memory tells me that neither the ce-2 or small clone does, but I've never a/b them. Could I mod them to sound like it? I'd like to build a chorus, and there's already great projects and build reports for these around.
