this happended to me too try a new delay chip, they can get damaged with static

Mihkel

I did.

QuoteI bought a new PT2399 and with a power supply it doesn't seem to affect the voltage. The regulator gives out 5V, that's about all the progress I've had, but still no delay.

The dry signal passes thru a much smaller portion of the circuit.

Do the trace, otherwise you're pretty much destined to abandon the project.

I'll do it, maybe tomorrow, maybe today. I'm building a booster to take a break from this project and I'll finish it today. Are there any specific places in the circuit you'd like to get results from?

Thanks

Mihkel

Hell yeah!!! I have delay!!!
:D :D :D
Couldn't be happier right now!!!

I had stripped half of the PCB to rebuild it, but when I saw that FP wanted me to use the audio probe once again, I put the components I had taken off back on the board. Connected my CD player with a CD by Joe Bonamassa in it, and thought why the songs had such an echo on them. Then I realized I wouldn't have to use the probe at all. Connected my guitar and was in delay heaven.

I don't know how to thank all of you guys who helped me with this! I would like to thank FP for such a wonderful project!!
;D

.... now I'll never find out what was really wrong with it though... :P

I'm  afraid my cheap multimedia mic won't do justice to it, and that's all I have...

connect the pedal's output directly to your soundcard's input (mic or line in).

Ok, will do some clips later then.
One question though, I can hear the pedal do some ticking noises when I'm not playing anything. Is that normal and could I make it quieter?

This is how my Rebote 2.5 turned out. I'm still getting to learn this unit, but it is a great effect. Last night, I found the settings from the picture very useful. It gives sort of slap back effect. Very cool, if you're into that special mexico sound from Tarantino films (Kill Bill). I really love it.

Sorry for the shaky picture.

Cool.

about the ticking, check your lead dress (do a search to find out the general rules of lead dress).
