Hi Everyone, finally done it ..... made a working pedal yeah! I managed to make the mess overdrive which sounds pretty cool indeed but for one small problem..........it's sooo quiet. I'm really new to this so was just wondering if the 1M log pot could bve changed to a 100k log pot for the output volume. Would that increase volume? Is it because i used small red led's instead of yellow ones?

Also only the first LED actually lights up, is that normal? If I changed the LED's to Diodes would that increase volume.

Any help in the matter would be great

Maybe your gainstage is underbiased(not getting enough power)? Dont think different color LEDs make much of a difference in output...
