drilling on a box that has a dark t-shirt transfer

Hey guys,

When I drill on a box that already has a dark-tshirt decal on it, sometimes when i drill the alluminum chunks, instead of flying up, dig their way underneath the decal, which of course is very annoying. I think from now on I'll have to drill before I do the transfer. Has anyone else experienced this?

I just did my first tshirt transfer. I pre-drilled the box and just trimmed the holes with an x-acto blade. Went really easy.

I just figured that the drill would tear the transfer somehow.
