Hi everybody
I'm a real newbie when it comes to guitar effects, and almost as new when it comes to soldering
I bought a Boss DS-1 distortion pedal from a guy outside a music store (stupid me) and now it's stopped working
sometimes when I plug it in I get nothing, and sometimes it will work for up to a minute before sort of fizzling out
the indicator LED does not turn on
I've opened it up and can't see anything obviously disconnect on the board, so what are the chances I can get it working again?
thanks in advance for any help

Do you use wallwart or battery? I had a problem with my Boss T-wah. It had no sound, and it turned out to be a problem with dc jack. so I pulled the jack out and shorted the leads. Voila, it works again. ;D
