Hi all,

I saw a web site talking about the Millenium bypass that shows a perfboard configuration for the millenium 2.
Thay say that the low leakage diode actually brings more problems than properly advantages.

It´s writen in spanish but here it is.

http://www.pisotones.com/Articulos/truebp.htm

The problem is: I built the board without the low leakage diode. BUT The led is allways turned on.
I am using it with a DOD 250 clone.. does the output pot makes the place of a pulldown resistor? I tried to put the resistor there (without soldering, just holding it) and it didn´t work...

Thanks in advance,

bioroids

Check the pinout of the transistor and the connections. The circuit works perfect if done properly. I never had a problem using the low leakage diode.

About the volume pot, if it is after the last capacitor then it acts as a pull down resistor too, you dont need to add one.

Thank you Miguel,

I thing I have a dead FET. I tried everything and it´s the same. Too late to get some bs170's at a store, they´re all closed now. I´ll buy some tomorow and check again.

dont waste time with millenium, 3PDT switches are not expensive and make life easier :)

The thing is I can´t get 3DPT at reasonable prices in Portugal :(

Thanks anyway

try www.banzaieffects.com
I'm from Serbia and I ordered some stuff (and 3pDT's) from them. Great prices and service

(I'm gonna throw away my "mallfuntion bypass 2")

Thanx for the banzaieffects link, almost everything is about 50-70% cheaper than here in Finland...
