wat Boost for wah pedals??

hey people,,, i did some mods to my wah and finally got it to sound great! one of the mods that made a HUGE difference in the sound was a 1K in series with the 470ohm (altho i used a 270ohm there) i get the best sound when i turn that pot down (more resistance) and it just sounds killer! the only problem is that i get a low output when playing clean (with distortion its not that bad i lose some of the balls of my sound) now i dont wanna do too many mods to it right now as im happy with the sound so the next thing that i would need is a boost, i was thinking about a MOSFET boost from AMZ but im just alittle worrie about the voltage, ive used boosts on other pedals but ive noticed that eighter the boost or the other circuit wont get enough voltage, so im just wondering what would be the best thing to do to add a nice little boost cuz i dont think it has to be a 1,000 db boost!!
