phaseur lfo not working as supposed

Hi Guys. I've just build the phaseur, and i think it's going to be great. the only problem i have is that the lfo is not working fine. if i set the speed knob  from 12 o'clock to 0 it just stops at a high position...it gets freeze. how can i solve this?. also the height pot is a bit useless...cause i can never get deep sounds, so i set it at 0 and the trim at 4k aprox...can anybody help me?. Thanks a lot!!
