Simple mods link?

Am I missing it? I want to try a tone/filter  knob on a fuzzface and can't find the simple mods page..can someone post the link?

I agree it's not the easiest page to find since diystompboxes.com doesn't go to the old flash intro and then to http://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/index2.html

I suggest you bookmark the link to index2.html.

Aron, can you add a link to the main index page to go to index2?  Or put the flash module in place?

thanks I appreciate it. Gonna try this one but am confused as to where it hooks up to. would it be lug 2 of the Volume pot?

Try it hooked up to lug 3, the same one that the circuit output wires hooks to.  Then run a wire from volume lug 3 to the tone pot.  Basically, it would be wired up similar to a guitar volume/tone control but in this case, lug 3 and 2 are connected on the tone pot and lug 1 goes to ground with the cap in series.

thanks I'll give it a try. I'm assuming I connect 2 and 3 of the tone pot and use it much like a variable resistor? and ground 1 in series. seems rather easy.

That's exactly what it is, a variable resistor.  That's all a pot is anyway.
