Is there anyone out there with experience in modding either a Maxon PT999 Phase Tone RI or a Marshall ED1 "Ed the Compressor" to TBP?  Also, the Maxon schematic would be neat if anyone has it, or any specific info about its bypass switching.
Thanks,

Marshall uses the classic old FX bypass (like the Big Muff), Maxon FX have a buffered bypass like the old Pearl FX.
For rewiring the Maxon and the ED-1 you don't need a schem, wire the FX as TB (maybe you have to change the switch too) and isolate the unused wire for the clean signal, that's all you have to do.

Thanks, JHS.  I gathered that the Marshall was like an old MXR, but the issue is what to do with the secondary board that the DPDT is wired to.  Do I just ditch it & rewire the 3PDT (blue) as per normal, straight to the LED, the main board and the jacks?

And on the Maxon, the switch is momentary, and connects only to the board, not to the jacks (consistent with a buffered bypass, as you said).  Do I just put in a DPDT or 3PDT wired between the board and the jacks, and skip allthe existing switch connections altogether?
BTW, do you know how good the buffering is?  I am not a TBP fanatic, so if the impedances are acceptable (i.e. as good as Boss or better) I can probably live with it rather than doing major surgery.
