The cap in the same orientation as the diodes between the signal line and the ground

The mod actually replaces C10 with the 47 cap if i'm not wrong. Just take out C10 and place the new cap in it's position. Alternatively you can just wire the new cap in parallel with C10. The difference in sound won't be much.
