Hi,

I'm not sure whether this is the forum to ask this, but it's sort of related to DIY'ing so here it is. Feel free to move or remove this if you feel it's too OT.

Anyway, here it comes:

Has anyone here built a amp switcher that you can use to connect a guitar to a number of amps (e.g. three) and use them individually or combined?

I'm looking at a device that accepts both +4dBu line level signal and guitar signal and can feed three guitar amps. Something like this: http://www.reamp.com/ but one accepting a guitar input as well. I want it to be a rack unit so I can always have the guitarist in the control room, switch between amps easily while the assistant can run in the live room tweaking amp settings when needed. :P

Any pointers to where I should look for such a schematic? It can't be all that complicated...

Cheers in advance,

Look at the signal splitter and A/B/Y boxes under "Signal Routing and Effects Order" in the FX Projects section at www.geofex.com.
Is that the sort of thing you mean? (except they're only two outputs...)
Er... can't work it out myself, but I'm sure there's a way to make it go three ways.
"Why can't I do it like that?"
