Fulldrive 2 mod - FM to vintage?

Hey all,

I've got an older, '98 model Fulldrive 2 with the pull/push comp cut but NO mini toggle to switch between flat mids and vintage.

I have heard that one can obtain the vintage tone, simply by cutting a jumper wire.  What i would like to do is to put a mini toggle, so that it is more like the current models.  I would like to be able to switch between the FM and vintage modes.

Has anyone done this?  Descriptions (the more detailed the beeter - i'm still a newb) and/or pictures would be awesome!

I was planning on having this mod done by a "professional" but if it is super easy, then i'd rather save the $50 and do it myself!
