Hi....i´m new on this board,i really just began in this world of the dyi..i´m from Spain so excuse my english.. :icon_confused:

I have a footswitch (spdt i think) that i removed from a Vox v847 Wah i modified to true bypass...well,i want to use it to activate the Loop FX of my amp,that has connection on the rear for a footswitch (FS-1)...anybody knows how is the wiring?or have some FS-1 and can take me a photo of the inside?it has a led...but for me isn´t necessary....i was trying with a mono cable (patch cable) and it works,activate and deactivate so!..but i don´t know how to wire it and if the footswitch is the correct for this thing!!Your help would be great appreciated...Thanks a lot

If plugging a mono cable into your amp and shorting the sleeve and tip together on the other end triggers the relay in your amp, you've got the right idea. Is that what happens? If it works like that, but not when the LED is in the circuit, remove the LED.

AFAIK, the LED in that circuit just drops voltage. The relay in your amp may work at a specific voltage.
