Rebote 2 Delay Question..

Hi...
I have a question about the Rebote 2 Delay...
I have built the project, and I can get sound, and it delays nicely...
However, the 5V voltage regulator gets extremely hot when current starts to flow in the circuit...
Is this normal?
& Thanks to Francisco & the guys at tonepad for providing such a project and PCB... I kinda got it to work on the first try (and its my second build... first being an unsuccesful Big Daddy Overdrive)! The effect is pretty straightforward to build... & also I think it sounds pretty neat...
and also thanks to Steve at Smallbear for sending the second battery clip... I appreciate that you sent the piece after I emailed you about it... great customer service...
