I just finnished mentioned sim from this schematic http://www.sama.ru/%7Egorath/ggear/projects/spksims/spksim_marshall_schem.gif but in local store they didn't have 2nF cap so I got 2.2nF. Will it change much in frequency response?
Tnx

MetalGuy

Filter frequency with 2.2nF is 4520Hz, with 2nF - 4741Hz. Not a big difference at least for me.
Also note that all parts have tolerances sometimes of up to 20% of the original value. My practice is when building filters or similar to handpick/measure/ the capacitors. Resistors are not a problem because I'm using 5% metal oxide.

Resistors are no problem, I'm using 1% metal film. But my multimeter doesn't have capacitance meter, so I can't check caps :(
Thanks for reply, I think it's difference I can live with :)
