The component marked with asterisks are supposedly not on original units. Is this true?

Has anyone added the extra components? Is is better without them? What do they do?

Id really like something that sounds most like the original

Thanks

Hi - which layout are you refferring to?

I'm having a go at the Scrambler soon too, will probably get a GGG pcb, as the stripboard layouts look a bit too tightly packed w/ too many jumpers much for me to handle.

From what I've seen, when new parts are added to '60s effects it's normally for polarity protection (an extra diode) and to eliminate 'pop' when engaging the stomp (small value caps), which wouldn't change the sound at all, but I could be (usually am) wrong so don't take my word for it.

I don't know how anyone can confidently say what is in the originals as they are encased in a giant block of epoxy.

I left them out.

I didnt much like this pedal. Way overrated.

I gave my clone to someone for Gig tickets.
