Shielding: Too much resistance?

Hello

I use plastic enclosures to put my circuits in and shielded it with aluminium foil. Now i'm building another one and tryied to paint it internally with conductive paint.

I don't know if I should apply more of it, but when measuring the resistance between two sides of the box, ot had 18k of resistance. How this interfere in the shielding?

You usually have to apply a few coats of conductive paint before you get a low resistance.

You don't need really low resistance for RF shielding.
As to how low you DO need..... I don't know. But, it's difficult to measure 'resistance' of a flat sheet of paint, using DMM probes!
