Pre-wired Molex available?

Looking at the price of crimping tools, making them myself is not an option.  But does anyone know a source for pre-crimped Molex wiring, maybe 3 wires or 6 wires, in lenths of 6 to 8 inches?

Digkey and Mouser both sell "cable assemblies" from several makers. Molex is a brand name so I don't know specifily what type of connector you want.

I bought an IDC press a number of years ago and while it was expensive it's been a really nice tool to have. I can't tell you how hard I cringe when people talk about making IDC cables with a vise or a hammer .

Here's what I use if I don't get lazy and use gold or silver pins.  Available in 2 to 12 pin single in-line packages, 0.1" (2.5mm) spacing.

my favorite method for connecting pots is using a long, thin daughter board with PC mount pots, and using 90 degree headers to connect the boards together. end result is a board with firmly attached pots.

jacks, switch are up to you

I've used that stuff too, Brett, but I didn't have much fun! unless there is some 'easy' way to connect wires to the pins, the 'cure' is worse than the disease. I've gone with ribbon cable & IDC headers. Not what you might first think of for audio, but I've used it hundreds of times with no problems whatever. One board for the pots & main circuit, another board for the jacks & power supply, ribbon between them.
