mono to stereo and back.....???

I dream this stupid idea...

i want to transform my guitar signal in a two mono signal, proces w/diferent effects this to signal an rebuild the two signals in one after the effects.... so, i need a stompbox for divided the signal in two an after other one to join the to signals...

any idea guys?

my knowledge of electronic is like 0.033 pf cap... that's very bad... but i'll study starting now...
