Hi guys. I've seen a few rough schems around the web for this monster but no nice tonepad type layout. There is something over the top about this thing, though it's unbelievably noisy as well. Will my Dr. Boogey sound like this when it's working right?  I looked up some old posts and see that Paul Marrossy loves his as well. Would love to be able to easily build these. -ph

I can't give you a layout, but yeah, it's really freaking noisy. I wonder if boss included 1M pulldown resistors on their input and output.

Mine's not very noisy, at least not how I have it set. It's not an easy build, IMO.

There was an old post here that was mislinked to the old forum, but I found it. Check this:

To all have interest, like Paul said, not easy boy oh boy. I personally won't try it unless I find someone to hire to make a pcbexpress layout for me. I can't even get my boss chorus to work that I etched.  This baby would be a nightmare.

I dime everything Paul. Not one of the finer ears on the forum. The pedal screams for cheap money ($50 on ebay shipped) and has a whole different thing than a TS808 or even a high gain fuzz. I'm wondering if one of the high gainers has the same kind of thing going on.  I have Aron's insanity half built and I have a triple pedal from buildyourownclone.com that I haven't made yet. The metal zone is boss's most popular pedal for a reason I'm sure, but figured I'd bounce it off you guys. -ph
