unsoldered leg on IC in my RAT

I acquired a used RAT 2 recently.  The owner before the previous owner replaced the IC with an LM308N chip.  It sounds fantastic, too!  However, as I was doing some mods, I noticed that one leg of the IC is not soldered to the board.  If you look at the chip from above, it's the lower left leg, the one with the dimple over it.

Is this OK?  The pedal sounds fine.  Is this because maybe the leg is touching just enough to make a connection, or because it shouldn't be connected?

If it should be connected, I can easily solder it.  However, it would be tricky to unsolder it and have it left the way it is now if I'm wrong.

Don't worry about it. Pin 5 of a LM308 is a no connection terminal. You can look at the data sheet here: http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/8604/NSC/LM308.html
