Need Help With Scrambler Clone from GGG

Hi, i'm building a Scrambler Clone from General Guitar Gadgets, my problem is now that its finished when turned off it goes through perfectly clear, but when turned on it cuts the volume of the sound quite a bit and the pots do nothing, anyone help in anyway?

Also looking for any Pedal Builders on here that are from Australia?

Hi, a couple general things to check is
Is the board getting full 9v power?
Are the transistors oriented right for their pinout?  Did you double check the data sheet for that specific part?  alldatasheet.com is good for that.
Is anything shorting out on your enclosure?
