Help me identify the pins for this jack - http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PS0184&CATID=35&keywords=&SPECIAL=&form=CAT&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=276

I've tried searching but can't find anything. There are 5 pins at the end of the jack in the positions labeled 2, 3, 4, 8, and in between 1 and 8 labeled sc on the outside of the casing. below is a diagram of the front of the switch...

Can anybody tell me which pins should be tip ring and sleeve? I don't know why i got these things.

Yeah, I love these switches...

That's what I used in my switchbox here (btw, the schematic shows only the changes to this schematic http://www.gtechblues.com/images/SWschem1.gif when using this kind of switches)

The pin-out is identified.

So it's Tip at pin 4, Ring at pin 8

Plug a cable in the jack (stereo/TRS if you have one). Then look for continuity with between the plug on other end of the cable and the pins on your jack. That ought to tell you which three are TRS at least.
Pardon my poor English. I'm American.

I'm pretty sure that pins 8 and 4 are the two you need.
one is the tip and the other the sleeve.
the tab round about the number 11 is the ground.
I think 123 is a spdt switch with 2 being the center connection and 567 is the other spdt, 6 is the center.
