Hello everyone,
I'm planning to build a MXR Blue Box and bought the PCB from tonepad last week.
I have found all the parts I need at smallbearelec except a 0.05 µF capacitor.
I just find 0.047 µF and 0.056 µF.
Can I use any of these capacitors instead? And in that case, which one is the best to use?

I built mine with 0.047 and it works fine.  Remember that capacitors can have a +-20% tolerance swing!
Try a little tenderness.

Yep either would be fine although the .047 is closer.

not all caps have the +/- 20% swing. i have seen some with as low as 5% tolerance.

not that it's incredibly relevant. remember, the designer of a pedal usually has an ideal value, then rounds to the nearest commone value, so using a .00500000 uF cap probably wouldn't be amazing...
