Wah Buffer 2N5457 Transistor question

2N5457 transistors in http://fuzzcentral.tripod.com/mccoy/bufferlayout.gif i have all the other parts except this one, can I subsitute this transistor with something else or should I just order it?

Don't quote me or take my word as gospel since I'm a newb but you should be able to use another FET.   Every circuit I've built to date that called for a J201 worked just fine with a 2N5457, chances are you could substitute a J201 or MPF102 if you have either one of those.
