I'm planning to put version 1 of AMZ's presence control on the mini and version 2 on the mosfet.

I have the AMZ pcb for each, I'm just debating whether or not to do the buffer mods.

The mosfet allows for a switchable buffered out. I could put the tone control on this output. the tone control would then be bypassed when out 1 is being used.

The mini is just buffered or not. It is the mini's instructions that explain that a buffered output can drive tone controls.
I will probably put the V2 tone (mid scoop) on the mini.

So I'm just wondering, does the buffered out on each have less volume or change the tone?
Can I just do the tone knob thing to a booster without a buffer?

I'm also working on the mini and i want to do a tone control, i soldered everythign to the board for the buffered version.
not sure of what to do for a tone control, i have a 100k audio taper pot to use for tone though.

if some can help... To do a simple low pass filter, whats the frequency range i should be sweeping through for guitar?
