hey folks,
I have an extra Vox v847 PCB.  I dropped in an Area 51 kit and liked it so much that I sent it back and got all the mods on it.  So I am pretty happy with that.  But now I have the original Vox PCB just sitting in a box and looking for  a new project.  I am thinking of picking up a broken wah and just using the shell.  So I am looking for suggestions  Basically, how would you build it?  I know I will true bypass it, AC power , and add a buffer for fuzz.  But what else?  Red or Yellow Fasel?  What pot? Whipple?  Anything.  I do kind of want something a bit different then the Area 51 if possible.  Thanks,
casey

Convert it to a Maestro Boomerang wah.

For an easy project (boxing up wise), build a "fixed wah" pedal. Use the board with a standard pot so you can dial in the frequency you want, then step on it and instant Michael Schenker.
