Hello all the people here !

I'm new to this forum and I've already found some tricks for my FZ1-A clone project. Great !

Now I'm trying to clone a FZ1-B. A friend of mine has one and it sounds fantastic. Yeah it sounds like "Satisfaction" too,  with some advantages : it uses NPN silicium trannies and a squelcher that eliminates noises. But when I tried to build a new FZ1-B it was impossible to get a good sound, even with the original Maestro side by side !!! Kinda voodoo magic here ?

Thank you very much for your help !

Sir H C

A lot of these older fuzzes are really poor in how they are biased.  You need to look at the collector voltages on the different transistors and find the ones that seem high or low and tweak the resistor values to get these in line.
